Mayfest, Cornell’s International Chamber Music Festival, (Artistic Directors Xak Bjerken and Miri Yampolsky) welcomes a roster of guest performers including Dawn Upshaw and Steven Banks to Ithaca for concerts May 20-24, 2022. Programs include works by Brahms, Bartok, Mendelssohn, and more.

I fully understand the risks, I knowingly and voluntarily waive and release Cornell University trustees, officers, agents, volunteers, employees, and students (the “Released Parties”) from all present and future claims of any type, including negligence, for any harm or loss, including but not limited to, economic loss, personal injury, disease, death or property damage suffered by me or my family, as a result of my participation in a Cornell University program, camp, or activity or as a result of my presence on Cornell University’s campus (the “Activities”). I agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and covenant not to sue the Released Parties for any personal injury, death, medical expenses, disability, loss of capacity, property damage, court costs, attorney’s fees, or other loss arising out of the Activities.

Note about E-Tickets & Refunds

"Buyer Beware"

All tickets for these events are electronic tickets. The unique bar code/QR code on each ticket allows only one entry to the event. The first copy of an E-Ticket (if there are multiple copies made) to arrive at the event will gain entry after scanning and validation. Other copies of the ticket will be denied entry.

Note that any sales of tickets to these events at locations other than this site (i.e. on-line auction sites) cannot be verified as authentic tickets. The sponsoring organization and/or venue will not be responsible for fraudulent sales, and/or the illegal duplication/sale of E-Tickets. PLEASE BE VERY CAUTIOUS IF SOMEONE OFFERS TO SELL YOU AN E-TICKET – IT HAS NO OFFICIAL RESALE VALUE, AND MAY BE AN UNAUTHORIZED COPY.  

TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, unless the event is cancelled, or unless otherwise stated on the event details page. If an event is cancelled, the sponsoring organization will contact ticket holders to explain the refund process. If the event is rescheduled, the original ticket may be transferred to the new date.
